DC Capital Connector recognizes the importance of your privacy. This privacy policy tells you what personal information we collect when you access or use our website ( the content and services embodied therein (collectively, our “Service”) and how we use that personal information. What Information Do We Collect

We may collect both Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Identifiable Data. We also collect information related to your company. Non-Identifiable Data is information that, although may be associated with your device, is not associated with a unique person or identity. For example, information about your web browser, operating system, pages visited, and your IP address is Non-Identifiable Data that we collect. 

How We Collect Information

We may collect Personally Identifiable Information when you specifically and knowingly provide it to us, for example, when you access the Service and provide your name, address, email address, and similar information; when you complete a survey to identify potential lender or provider matches using the Service; or when you contact us with your name, address, and email address. We do not consider Personally Identifiable Information to include information that has been anonymized so that it does not allow a third party to easily identify a specific individual. We collect and use Personally Identifiable Information to operate and improve our Service, to allow you to provide third parties or other users access to your user content, to provide customer service, to communicate with you when requested, and to perform research and analysis aimed at improving our products, services and technologies.

You may always choose not to provide Personally Identifiable Information, but if you so choose, all or a portion of the Service will not be available to you. Note that Personally Identifiable Information we collect may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which we or our affiliates, subsidiaries, contractors or agents maintain facilities; by using the Services, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.

When you use our Service, we, or third parties on our behalf, may collect Non-Identifiable Data via the use cookies and other similar technologies. How Do We Use the Information We Collect

We will use the Personally Identifiable Information submitted by you solely for the purpose for which you have provided it, such as processing transactions; providing notices, updates, alerts, and support; and providing information on products, services, special deals, or promotions. In addition, we may share your Personally Identifiable Information with the third-parties with whom you may decide to solicit services.  In completing a lender or bonding agent survey on the Service, you are expressly providing us the right to provide Personally Identifiable Information to lenders or bonding agents so that they can contact you regarding their services. We may also share this information service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as data storage providers, data transmitters, etc. These service providers will be permitted to obtain only the Personally Identifiable Information they need to provide their services, will be required to maintain the confidentiality of the information, and will be prohibited from using the information for any other purpose.  Also, if we go through a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, data we gather from you may be part of the assets transferred or shared in connection with due diligence for any such transaction. Any acquirer or successor company may continue to use the data we collect from you as described in this notice.

We, authorized third-parties, or our third-party partners will use Non-Identifiable Data to track and analyze usage and volume statistical information from our users to administer content and to provide the Service. We may also perform statistical analysis of user behavior in order to measure interest in our online products and services for product development purposes. The information collected from cookies, for examples, allows us to determine such things as which parts of our Service are most visited and difficulties our visitors may experience in accessing or using our Service. 

In accessing or using the Service, you authorize us to sell aggregated and/or anonymized data with others for their own uses. As part of our Service, we may provide links to or compatibility with other websites or applications. However, we are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by those websites or applications or the information or content they contain. This Privacy Policy applies solely to the information collected by us through our Service. Therefore, this Privacy Policy does not apply to your use of a third party website accessed by selecting a link on or via our Service. To the extent that you access our Service through or on another website or application, then the privacy policy of that other website or application will apply to your access or use of that website or application. We encourage our users to read the privacy statements of other websites before proceeding to use them.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not for use by anyone under the age of 18. We therefore do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to remove such information from our servers.
